Last updated: 30 October 2026

Bjorn Laku, Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Cashbook Finance, explains how Cashbook presents invoice finance and property-backed bridging finance in a coherent digital experience.

## The challenge

Borrowers and introducers need to understand two different funding products and their costs, security requirements and suitability without unnecessary complexity.

## Approach

1. Diagnose: research the questions borrowers, finance directors and intermediaries ask.
2. Position: distinguish invoice finance and bridging finance in simple language, while retaining one clear Cashbook identity.
3. Activate: build product explanations, calculators, funding scenarios, eligibility routes, practical guidance and direct applications.
4. Measure: examine customer journeys and improve friction points; no unverified conversion uplift is claimed.

## Evidence

The Cashbook Finance website discloses £30m+ funded since 2019, 100+ UK businesses served and advances of up to 90% on eligible invoices. Figures are about lending activity and product positioning, not independently verified effects of website design. Source: https://www.cashbookfinance.co.uk/

## Visual documentation

The case study includes desktop and mobile homepage captures taken from the live Cashbook Finance website on 30 October 2026. This is not a real-time embedded browser; the live site may have changed since.

## Product decision design

The product navigation distinguishes invoice factoring, invoice discounting, selective and timesheet finance from property-backed bridging. Worked examples illustrate invoice cash flow and property loan-to-value. Eligibility guidance, published pricing principles, trust information and funding scenarios help visitors assess suitability before making an enquiry. These are qualitative design choices, not measured conversion claims.
